ASCE 2010 Newsletter Award LogoThe Maine Section of ASCE distributes an AWARD WINNING monthly newsletter to its 750 members as a service to keep the membership involved and informed. The Section INFORMANT is available in a Portable Document Format (PDF) and in paper copy format. If you prefer to receive a paper copy, click here to email the Informant editors and please include your name and address.  You must be an dues-paying Maine Section member to receive a free paper copy.

The INFORMANT typically has information about:

  • Upcoming meetings,
  • Important Issues affect the Civil Engineering Profession,

  • Special Events such as the Maine Technical Seminar or the Transportation Conference or Younger Member events, and

Do you run your own consulting firm, or have a business that the Maine engineering community should know about?  Advertise with a business card!  Business card listings run for 1 year, including 9 issues of the Informant and full time on the website.  Cost:  $150.00

Job Listings:

Advertise for new employees at any level – Over 740 students, EIT's, and PE's will all see your ad.

Job advertisements are posted in one issue of the Informant, and will run on the website for one month.
Costs:  Quarter Page (3.75”x5”) - $35

            Half Page (7.5”x5”)   - $75 for 1 month
                                             - $500 for 1 year (9 issues)

            Full Page (7.5”x10”)  - $150 for 1 month
                                             - $1000 for 1 year (9 issues)

The deadline for submissions is the 20th of the month prior to publication.
